Pulpit to the Pew
This is a podcast where you can come relax and catch a break. We will be discussing life from the Christian’s perspective. From time to time we will be bringing in scriptures that grab our attention and will be trying to break them down so we can understand them better. But most of the time our conversation will just be surrounded in laughter. Thanks for tuning in!

A Mountain Dew falls into a porta potty and one man makes a choice that costs him eight hours of his life. That headline sets the tone for a wildly honest hangout where we laugh hard, argue about food like it matters, and somehow stumble into real lessons about boundaries, wisdom, and friendship.
We introduce a new cast member, Brother Nathan Bellows, and immediately get into the kinds of debates you only have with people you trust: Waffle House loyalty, the legendary Waffle House weather index, and whether White Castle is worth planning your next 24 hours around. From there we hit ramen noodle survival stories, “real ramen” vs packet noodles, and the seaweed moment that sounds like spinach until it absolutely does not.
Then we pivot into job-site life and the grossest question on record: what would you actually go after if it fell into a porta potty? Alongside the laughs, we talk dirty soda trends, vanilla Coke nostalgia, and the reality of trying to quit pop with sparkling water. Finally, we settle nothing about Oreos, cookies, and buttermilk, but we do end with a word of the day that might just stick.
If you enjoy a Christian podcast that feels like real conversation with church friends, hit subscribe, share this with someone who loves food debates, and leave a review. What’s the one snack opinion you will never compromise on?
Welcome And Meet The New Voice
SPEAKER_04Welcome back to the podcast. I'm your host, Brother Sean Brumfield, and this is Pulpit to the Pew. And uh sitting right of me is uh brother Jonathan Mitchell. What's up? What's up, homie? Feeling patriotic today. Uh we're kind of past the 250th. Merca. Merka. Sitting diagonally across from me is Brother Ryan Brown. Howdy, owdy. And today we have a new cast member, Brother Nathan Bellows, straight across from me.
SPEAKER_00Hello.
SPEAKER_02How's everything going, guys? Going good. I mean, I'm having a hard time looking straight ahead. Seeing those purple reflections on those.
SPEAKER_00They're blue. No, they're purple. It depends on the angle.
SPEAKER_02It does. They're iridescent, so they change. It's blurple. Is that better?
SPEAKER_04Yeah. No, those are blue.
SPEAKER_02Seeing your green eyes.
SPEAKER_04My hazel eye or whatever the color is, I don't know. What's going on, everybody? Oh man. Jeepers, creepers, let me see them beepers. Why is everybody looking at me? I don't I don't know, because you just blew uh so much air into that microphone. I also sipped into it.
SPEAKER_02So how did they uh talk you into joining this podcast of ADD characters?
SPEAKER_00Sean asked, and then Lissa asked on Tuesday if I was coming to record on Thursday. Well, she asked my wife was coming to spend the night with Lissa. And I was like, I guess. So then I text Sean, I'm like, hey, are you guys recording on Thursday? He's like, yeah. I was like, okay.
SPEAKER_04I well, I we had a conversation at B Dubs, and I thought for pretty sure we already talked about Thursday.
SPEAKER_00You said Tuesday or Thursday. Yeah. We were be talking about.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah, they had a 50-50 shot. I mean, it's gonna show up one day, and if it's not that they come back. That's the reason where the ADHD podcast mine got lost on something else.
Waffle House Loyalty And Storm Warnings
SPEAKER_04I have a couple questions. Raise your hand first. Yes, Brother Jonathan. Do you like Waffle House?
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_04Is Bigfoot real?
SPEAKER_00Of course.
SPEAKER_02Yeah! Oh man. Yes! Alright, well, I guess one out of two ain't bad. Yes!
SPEAKER_04Well, if we gotta ask him the obvious one.
SPEAKER_00If you ask the obvious one, there's gonna be a good one.
SPEAKER_04We're just trying to make bring the show to equilibrium. Is that Chick-fil-A? Is that the obvious one? Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Okay, so it's Chickup's right over there.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, he came in. I almost drank out of that color. He he came in and he was like, I heat at your favorite restaurant. I was like, was it Chick-fil-A? He goes, Yep. I love me some Chick-fil-A check.
SPEAKER_02Well now it's I mean, now it's even. I guess Jonathan won't feel like we're beating up on him too bad.
SPEAKER_04No, I definitely feel beaten on him.
SPEAKER_02I mean the the Waffle House thing, you're just gonna be a little bit more.
SPEAKER_04That's just not American.
SPEAKER_00To not like Waffle House?
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Yeah, I'm not a Waffle House guy. You're not? No.
SPEAKER_00Do you believe in the Waffle House weather index? Wait, what? You didn't know about that? No, this is new to me. You didn't know about that? No, I promise. I didn't know. So Waffle House has a weather index. And like if Waffle House shuts down, then like the area is going to be destroyed. Well, I think if Waffle House shuts down and moves out, like all of their freezers are set to run on natural gas. All of their electricity can run on natural gas. So like Waffle House can stay operating in the middle of like a hurricane, basically. Uh-huh. So a lot of times if there's really bad, then they'll go to Waffle House. But they have like a whole team that predicts the weather. And so a lot of times the National Weather Service will look at what Waffle House is doing in that area to determine how bad the storm hit. Wow. I believe that.
SPEAKER_04I think we we got tagged in a post about Waffle House shutting down, or we did we posted one. I think you posted it. I think you sent it to me and Brother Ryan and then Yeah because of the storms we had in February. Yeah, I think that's kind of what it's alluding to. Is it the same thing? Yeah, it was with the lizard. I mean, it is true. If you can't even get into a Waffle House, it's bad.
SPEAKER_02Well, that depends because the one up by our church, there are times where they just don't want to serve people.
SPEAKER_04So Well, that's different. That's just serve that's just the Waffle House personnel. Yeah, but McDonald's could do the same.
SPEAKER_02No, no, I'm just saying. So so it has to be it has to be like complete shutdown.
SPEAKER_04I'm pretty sure they require a felony before you can work there. And you gotta be missing out at least 13 teeth.
SPEAKER_00What was this? Someone posted that Germany, that guy from Germany came over and was like touring America during the World Cup, and he was like, I had a very pleasant experience at Waffle House at one o'clock in the morning. It was delightful when someone said, I don't know which one you went to. He's like, There wasn't a fight, it wasn't an actual visit.
SPEAKER_02Well, again, that that goes that goes back to what we say. Waffle House is a late at night place to go eat. I'm not or even I will even say breakfast. If you're gonna go there early in the morning for breakfast, I can I can handle their breakfast.
SPEAKER_04I could eat Waffle House anytime.
SPEAKER_02Well, yeah, I can too. But typically Waffle House is a place where we go when it's you know 11 12 o'clock at night.
SPEAKER_04Not a White Castle guy.
SPEAKER_00White Castle is the same thing. You gotta be it's usually late at night. Everything else is shut down.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, White Castle is one of those deals that I could eat it at any time. I refuse to because you've got to know what you're doing.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you really do.
SPEAKER_02You do. You've you've got to make sure you've got your next 24 hours planned out. You don't need it on your way to church, especially if you're preaching.
SPEAKER_04Let's just say you're gonna have to make a weekend of it. Yeah. I see, I love white castles. Well, I do too. It doesn't matter. I mean, I'm pretty much the same whether I have white castles or I don't.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. White castles just I I agree with it. It doesn't agree with me.
SPEAKER_04So white is the color you go in, orange is the color you leave.
SPEAKER_01White orange.
SPEAKER_04Because that's their sign. Their sign is white and orange. So orange because you're sick after you eat it.
SPEAKER_01That's the joke. I've never heard that one before.
SPEAKER_04Never heard that before. I'm feeling orange today. They're an Ohio company, aren't they? I think they're out of Columbus. I don't know where any of them are. There's like hardly any of them.
SPEAKER_02By the church. There's one by my house. I can tell you where several of them are.
SPEAKER_04I don't know. There's none in the Dayton area that I know of. Dude, all you gotta do is put your nose in the air and take a sniff, and you'll find one, I guarantee it.
SPEAKER_00That's probably Sean, you get yours without onions, don't you?
SPEAKER_04No, I know. Actually, that's the like one of the only places they'll get it with onions.
unknownAren't they?
SPEAKER_02You can't get a white castle without onion. I was about to do that.
SPEAKER_04Technically, they cooked in the brown. It's not even an onion. It's radishes cooked in onion juice. But isn't that isn't the onions literally in the patty?
SPEAKER_00They go on the it's not cooked, it's not in the meat, but it's like they go on the griddle first and then the patty gets smashed onto the onion. No thanks. You can order without, but no thanks.
SPEAKER_01It's not the same.
SPEAKER_04Their chicken rings are good. I will say that. Okay, well, they're from Wichita, Kansas. But I thought for sure they were out of Columbus. We can't claim at all. I don't know what we can claim. Arby's Skyline. Arby's? Skyline's.
SPEAKER_00Arby's was in Warren, Ohio.
SPEAKER_04Oh really?
SPEAKER_00By where my family's from. You can go see the original one. Wendy's.
SPEAKER_04Well Wendy's is owned by Arby's now, so technically, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Wendy's is owned by Arby's now? When did that happen? Several years ago. I was a teenager when they got bought out. I didn't pay no attention. That's probably when they changed the fry recipe. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Probably. That was sacrilegious.
SPEAKER_02That's when they got the fries. I'm not I am, okay. I will tell you right now, I am not a sweet, salty guy. No. Okay. I don't, I like, which I don't, and you can ask Brother Sean. I don't mix my foods. I eat one thing at a time, and then I go to the next thing at the time. I can test it. And then I go to the next thing. That's that's how I I'm very strong. I'm the same way.
SPEAKER_04I'm the same way.
SPEAKER_02But Wendy's fries before they changed it was perfect to dip into a chocolate frosty. That's the only sweet salty that I would do. Oh, I remember when they changed the sea salt. Yeah, that was and they changed the fries. And the fries. Their fries were thicker and they had some of the skin on it. You could dip those in the frosty. Best thing.
SPEAKER_04I don't really care for a thick fry. The only way I don't either fries are like my least favorite fry. The only way I can eat Wendy's fries if they're baconator fries. Other than that, I can't eat. Oh, the bacon ador fries are really good. The bacon ador fries are really good. But that's just because it's got melted cheese and bacon.
SPEAKER_02One time I ordered those, I was when I was still working in construction, and I was, you know, just come in off the construction field and I was getting my lunch, and so I ordered those bacon ador fries. That was the only thing I ordered for lunch was just those fries, because that's all I really wanted. And I go back to the job site and I'm sitting in my truck to eat, and they didn't give me any silverware. Oh, so did you I was like scooping it with my hand, man? I'm not wasting these bacon ador fries.
SPEAKER_04I just I'll be honest with you, I just don't care that much for bacon unless it's on a BLT. Like for breakfast, I'd rather have it.
SPEAKER_02So this one we're not gonna agree on.
SPEAKER_04I could do that. That's fine. I love bacon. I know because we went I don't know, we went to B dub's last night and they had some super thick up bacon on their sandwiches. Yeah. Like that's like that's good. But when you're doing it, BW? No, I didn't. No. But they got good sandwiches. I know. I'm just saying, I I'm used to going to BW.
SPEAKER_00Their double decker with bacon, they give you like half a pound of bacon on the bottom. Which one? Blue ash chili. Oh, dude, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Well, we did that together, didn't we? Yeah, we was it was it a triple decker we got?
SPEAKER_00I think you can get triple hungry.
SPEAKER_04All right, so blue ash chili is delicious. It is. I just they weren't closed on Sunday. That's pretty hard. Because it's it's just so
Ramen Noodles And Survival Meals
SPEAKER_04good. I had some ramen noodles for dinner tonight. The chicken flavored.
SPEAKER_02Chicken flavored. Hey, you know what you can do to kind of Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Are you agreeing that that's the good the flavor to go with? I go chicken every time. Oh, no, no. But listen, I don't just leave them that way though. You want to you want to know how to make them even better?
SPEAKER_04You put American cheese in it, don't you?
SPEAKER_00You grab the bowl, you get the noodles all wet, then you go to the garbage disposal, you dump them in and flip it on. No. Huh.
SPEAKER_02You you take you a hard boiled egg and chop it up and put it on.
SPEAKER_04No, no, no, no, no. Wait. So are you a non-ramen noodle fan?
SPEAKER_00Like a not the not the package kind. I went to Bible school and lived on those for like three years. Well, they're like they're made out of old shoes.
SPEAKER_02I could eat them. I don't say that they're the best. My my wife calls them plastic noodles.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but they like the stalks of weed or something.
SPEAKER_04I like I will eat the chicken, but the beef is the best. It's just salt. But I grew up different. My mom always put a piece of American cheese in it. And then when I got old enough to know that that's sacrilegious, I quit doing that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I never, I've never even heard of that that way.
SPEAKER_04It's weird. It's totally weird.
SPEAKER_02All my kids they will only eat chicken. I've had the beef. I mean, the beef is okay, but it I don't think it has the strongest flavor. Oh, I think it does. I think it's so good. Now, I'll tell you which ones are really good, and I like them when you get them in the bowls and it's like all the Mai Chai Michael, whatever, and it's the spicy stuff.
SPEAKER_04I don't like all the extra veggies that we do. Just give me the fake noodles.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, the the pack in the we got to a point where we ate so many ramen noodles at Bible school that people would take break open the noodles and just dump the seasoning in and eat them like chips.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I've seen people do that. They have an oriental salad like that. I could not so then John, do you do you break them up or do you just put the pack in hole? I just put the pack in hole. I want them to be.
SPEAKER_02That's the way to do it. I want to then he gets you a fork and you twist it.
SPEAKER_04Oh, you yeah, and then you get the slurp sound. Oh, that's great.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00But I'm not anti-ramen because we went to the Korean hot pot in Mason, and they'll bring you ramen to put into your hot pot, and that's really good. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I think, but I think when you're dealing with that, you're dealing with not fake noodles.
SPEAKER_04I mean, I like them both. I don't think I've ever had genuine ramen. Oh, I have, and it's so good. I do want to go to a genuine ramen. I've never even had Korean barbecue.
SPEAKER_02We could do that as a I want to go to a Korean hot pot. I've never.
SPEAKER_00The one in Mason is really, really good.
SPEAKER_04Did you turn me up? Yeah, I did. Okay, thank you. Because you were very quiet. That's what I thought. The one in Mason is really sorry.
SPEAKER_00I've had the like that's that the Ginkky Ramen. No. I think Gink Ramen is in Liberty Center, I think.
SPEAKER_04Although I think they're going to be.
SPEAKER_00I can't remember. There's one in Liber there's one in Mason right by where the red robin's at. Yeah. And you can do like a barbecue.
SPEAKER_04I'm just me and Ryan are both like, what are we talking about? We don't know.
SPEAKER_02I don't I've never heard of Ginky Robin.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, but that's that's so good. That's such a funny name, Ginky. Yeah. It's well, that's where that spinach story comes from that Butch
Seaweed In Ramen Gone Wrong
SPEAKER_04got me on. Oh yeah? Yeah. Oh, where he's yeah, the the seaweed. Yeah, the seaweed. Well, he's like so to give con. I don't know. Have we told that story? No, you've only told me. No, I I knew about it. I think I've told all, I think I've told everybody, but like so we went to this, we went to this ramen place. It may not have been Genky, but like I I'm pretty sure that that's what's the name of it. And we got the seafood one, which was a mistake in the first place. Yeah, seaweed. Because the whole thing. Well, it all they all come with a sh a sheet of seaweed. Yeah, but on top. Yeah. Get it away from me. So you don't play with it anymore. Get it away from me. Brought to you by Sean's business cards. I was kidding. I'm listening, I promise. And so uh I think I had they have these like these weird, I mean they're chemical flavored, like fish seasoning and stuff in it. So that was a mistake number one. But then we're sitting there and Butch takes that whole sheet and just goes like just like just chops it down real quick, and I'm like, was that good? And he goes, Well, do you like spinach? No, now listen, if you got asked that question and was do you like spinach, what would you expect? Colored greens. Something like that. Yeah, you would something like that. You would expect whatever they're asking you is gonna taste like spinach.
SPEAKER_02Yes, that that's the answer I'm looking for. Like I I was totally thinking But in my mind, if somebody said do you like spinach, I'm instantly going to like a collared, collard green type texture flavor or something.
SPEAKER_04Well, I mean, no, I would spinach. I I was just thinking the spinach, and I mean I like leafy green spinach. Like I don't I don't like cooked spinach, but I like the the salad green.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04So I'm expecting this thing to taste like spinach, and I take a bite out of it. Well, boys. It's disgusting. It's like it's it's spinach soaked in fish oil is what it tastes like. And it's the most disgusting. I think I may have threw up a little bit after eating it.
SPEAKER_02I'm telling you, seaweed is disgusting anyway. The only way that I'll ever eat anything seaweed is if I'm eating sushi.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So those of you that are watching the videos, sorry for Jonathan just getting up, but he got cold. That is hilarious.
SPEAKER_04We're supposed to be a professional studio. And I was using that fan.
SPEAKER_02That is hilarious. It feels good on me. You could have at least like hit the button to where it's like oscillating back and forth, and we could have shared it. Don't make him get up again. He'll win up. I'll do it again. I don't care.
SPEAKER_04I'll just I'm sick of the fan. So so with all of this. Two
The Mountain Dew Porta Potty Headline
SPEAKER_04weeks in a row.
SPEAKER_02With all of this stuff, I've got I've got because it actually segues good into like eating, except for it's not food. So if you want to do, I got a news story.
SPEAKER_04You have a news story.
SPEAKER_02I've got a news story. I think he's got a new story. You guys are gonna love it. All right. That was louder than I was expecting. Do you guys drink Mountain Dew?
SPEAKER_00Zero depends.
SPEAKER_02Zero? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So would you would you go to great lengths to get a Mountain Dew? Yes. No. No. What if you buy a Mountain Dew and you drop it? Are you gonna go after it? Yes. Okay, so a man in Kansas City. You just set yourself up, bro. I don't care. We were we were he's like, it's a Mountain Dew. Listen, so this place in Kansas City was set up and they had port-a-potties that were in a ring. I did okay in a row. And so this company comes around and they're cleaning these porta potties. I mean, they have to know where this is going. They have to clean it. You know, it's it's only you're only allowed to have so many uses per amount of people. So they have to keep them cleaned and all that stuff. So they go on one and it says it's occupied. So they knock on the door and the guy says, you know, they they the guy answers and they told him, you know, we got you got ten minutes, and then you're gonna have to get out of the port a potty. And so they go away. So they come back in that allotted time frame and they knock on the door and a guy says, I I can't let you in. And they're like, Well, what's going on? He says, I can't reach the lock. I can't, I can't reach the lock. And so they found a motorcycle. I mean, talk about like, I don't believe in coincidences, but when you're sitting here and you're in the middle of this place and all of a sudden a motorcycle cop comes around, like, you know. But anyway, after some time, a crew member found a police officer that was cruising by, and so they flagged him down, they had him come to the portalet, and they get the police officer to talk to this guy, and he's responding to him, and he's saying, I can't unlock the door. And they're like, We have they have to get in, they have to clean it. And they said, We can't unlock the door. And so they finally break open in this port-a-potty, and there's nobody in there. Nobody's sitting in there. So this guy's talking, they're talking to this person, this thing's vacant, there's nobody in there. All of a sudden they see a come out of the hole. Okay. So the story goes that this man went into the port-a potty and he dropped his mountain dew inside the hole. And so instead of just letting it go, he went fishing for said Mountain Dew bottle and fell into the port-a potty and got stuck and was trapped into that porta potty for a grand total of eight hours, trapped inside. So I ask you again there, brother. If you dropped a mount a thing of Mountain Dew, are you gonna go after it?
SPEAKER_00Not even for a Dr. Pepper.
SPEAKER_02No, no, could you imagine being stuck eight hours?
SPEAKER_04Like under the car or like where I have to like reach. Well, I mean, that wouldn't be as fun as a story. No, but the but if it fell into a port-a-potty, absolutely not. That is just gone.
SPEAKER_00That never existed. I'm sure Jerry Clow told a story like this, didn't he? The guy had dropped like a five into the port-a-potty, you know, and the guy like grabbed like a twenty dollar bill or something, threw it in there, and said, now it's worth you to go down there and get it or something like that. It was something crazy. He threw more money down in there too.
SPEAKER_02No, that's just now being in construction. So that that made headlines. That guy was trapped inside said porta potty for eight hours because he dropped his Mountain Dew. But I never did read where he got his Mountain Dew back. So, you know, I don't know.
SPEAKER_00Like, there's two questions that come from this. First of all, how recent?
SPEAKER_02Uh you know what? I'll have to look at that.
SPEAKER_03I don't know.
SPEAKER_00And location. Kansas City.
SPEAKER_02Kansas. It was in Kansas.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Because a porta potty in Alaska is not going to smell the same as a porta potty in like Texas, where it's based on the Well, even Kansas, if you think of it's it's like a barbecue festival.
SPEAKER_04Like a barbecue festival.
SPEAKER_02This happened July 16th of 2026. No, that was recent.
SPEAKER_03I mean, this is this is post this is post-2020, people. It was hot in there.
SPEAKER_00It had to stink so bad.
SPEAKER_04That had to be just there's just no, first of all, the idea that this guy, if he finds it, so is going to crack open the lid and put it up to his mouth.
SPEAKER_02Okay, look, listen, I'm gonna tell you right now, if he's brave enough to go diving in to go after said bottle, he's not thinking about that, but that's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_04Like, is it even how how can you even jump in? Well, how did you get stuck? That you're gonna be turd nuggets he got stuck around your mouth. Wait a minute. You know what? I wonder if it was like a one that was just like a hole in the ground port a potty.
SPEAKER_02No, it's a it's a portelet. It's a it's a job site port a potty.
SPEAKER_04Like, wait, okay. I guess I I don't go in port a potties enough. So I don't it's a tank. But like is he like Yeah, but you can stand up and get out. Yeah, like lower half.
SPEAKER_02I don't know the conditions.
SPEAKER_04Oh, wait, they had them semi-truck ones.
SPEAKER_02No, but no, no, no, no. This is this is a plastic on the city. Well, then it's not that deep because you literally sit on top of it. Oh, he was deep. He got trapped. He was deep in it. He was trapped. He was deep in it.
SPEAKER_04Dude probably had poop at the dyed. Where how do you get stuck? I don't understand. How do you get stuck in that? I wonder if it was halfway in or halfway out.
SPEAKER_00I want to know how you got like a decent portion of your body to get stuck down the wall. My thing is it in K.
SPEAKER_02No, it was a guy. It was a man. That guy's now my question is should have left him in there. Look, you guys are you guys are talking about how did this guy get stuck and all that stuff. And I think that the fact that that he went after the Mountain Dew bottle is like this dude's gonna be dumb enough to get stuck in the porta potty.
SPEAKER_04He's the reason they put shampoo on direction on shampoo bottles. As yeah.
SPEAKER_00She's the reason why there's directions on bottles.
SPEAKER_02Now I can tell you one that I I know that was a news story, but well hold on, before we do
Construction Stories And Gross Thresholds
SPEAKER_02that.
SPEAKER_04So we talked about we mentioned that comment in our last video. And I put up a reel about it, and some the first comment we got on it was because we were making fun of AOC. AOC, and they were like, these people want AOC to shout them out so bad. And I was like, No, we just think she's retarded.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, we don't I could care less if she even knows who I am.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. She represents New York, I don't really care.
SPEAKER_02But so I like I said, I have a construction background, so porta potties are like they're nothing to me. And there was a guy, he was from France, he was he was an actual Frenchman. And we were working on a job site and he lost his keys. He couldn't remember where he placed them. And we we would install panels and stuff. And so we was we was working all over this place. And so they kept asking, you know, he kept asking the people that he's working with, have you guys seen my keys? Do you know where they're at? And so finally somebody goes, Where his name was Dominique. He said, They said, Dom, where do you remember having them last? And he went, Oh, I'll be right back. And disappears. Doesn't say anything to anybody, nothing like that. Just just is gone. Okay. And he's gone for about a half hour or so. During this time, another crew who's also installing panels for what they do, we did HVAC systems, and this individual, they were installing couldn't they were installing security systems. So they installed their panel next to ours, and they come up and they said, Hey, are any of you guys missing keys? Somebody was working in this panel and they hung their keys on our door. And so we just wanted to make sure it's none of ours, so we just we figured it would be one of your guys's port apart. It was Dom's keys. So we go out to look for him. He's got a piece of conduit and he's swirling.
SPEAKER_04Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No. No, we're good. That's no.
SPEAKER_02He's stirring the smell. He's stirring, trying to find his keys. That's the last place he remembered he had him.
SPEAKER_00At least he didn't go in after. Yeah, no, he didn't dive in.
SPEAKER_02But again, at the end of the day, what are you gonna do if you fish?
SPEAKER_04I'm getting a new car. I'm getting a new car. I'm not. Those keys are dead to me. My brother worked in the well still does, you know, construction. He lost his AirPods in the the Porto Potty. And this subject has gotten he absolutely went jumping in after him to get him because he was like, I'm not paying another $200 for those. I thought I was friends with Tony. Now I don't feel I don't know. I'm not sure.
SPEAKER_00I'm trying to think what I would go in after. Well, here's the thing. Like, what would you do? Well, here's the thing though.
SPEAKER_04Mike's my child. He's but he's a germophobe. Like Tony hates germs. He he can't sand them. That's about the extent. My wife falls in, she's on her own. Kids, yeah, I'll go in. Well, knowing during the Holocaust they used at Sobibore when they were doing the big escapes, they a lot of people hitting the the the Johns.
SPEAKER_02Okay. With that being said, though, if I'm like escaping for my life, that's different, and that's where I have that they're not gonna check. I'll I yeah, I couldn't. Oh, that's what I'm saying. That's the that's the extent of where I would get in.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I still don't know.
SPEAKER_04Just take me. He would be the one that would run out in front of me, like, I'm here, and uh, there's about 30 of them in the toilet over there. Yeah. Just to make myself get a lighter sentence after I'm snitching. You're like, I'm snitching on everybody. You're like the the healthy gazelle that snitches out on the sick gazelle to the lions.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, mount Mountain Dew could could completely outdo Klondike Bar with that new story. Because Klondike Bar's slogan is what would you do for Klondike Bar? Mountain Dew could so easily blow them out of the water.
SPEAKER_04What I thought you were gonna tell for the Mountain Dew story. I thought you were gonna tell the time that a lady said that she opened up her Mountain Dew and found a mouse. No, that was Monster.
SPEAKER_00There was Monster for sure.
SPEAKER_04Monster had a rat. So did so did Mountain Dew. Oh, I didn't read those stories.
SPEAKER_02Mine's a lot better.
SPEAKER_04But anyways, they they were like, they were like, they were she was like, Well, I had there's a there's a a mouse inside my Mountain Dew, and they went and did a whole study and was like, no, it's impossible. By the time the Mountain Dew got to you, the mouse would be dissolved. I think we talked about that. We probably did. There was a you know the I don't know if they even make them anymore, but they had the screwable tab monster cans, the big ones. There was a dead rat and that had crawled into one of those particular big green monsters and somebody drank it. And yeah, no thanks, man. That's just uh you know what though, I kind of want a Mountain Dew now.
Dirty Soda Trends And Vanilla Coke Chaos
SPEAKER_01I'm glad to put that in your mind.
SPEAKER_04I wouldn't go in a porta potty for one.
SPEAKER_00You'd have to get a do USA though. Go with your fit. Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_04Somebody told me they're a different flavor, and I don't see it. What? There's a Mountain Dew or like America Dew or something. Do USA.
SPEAKER_02It's a it's a Mount the do the American Dew? Yeah. It's it's Mountain Dew.
SPEAKER_04It's the same flavor. It's just a different branding. Yeah, they're just doing that.
SPEAKER_02They did it for 250. 250. Okay, so with that being said, have you had the dirty Mountain Dew?
SPEAKER_04I don't like the dirt. The Dirty Mountain Dew face. Disgusting. I think it's like the dirty pop thing is kind of annoying. I like dirty pop attacked. I feel attacked because you both tried that in my house. It's still disgusting. Well, I didn't try the dirty one in your house. I'll let you one one night you were at the house and I had it and I was like, here, take a sip of the. We drank it here. Yeah. I don't remember.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. It's it's disgusting. I thought it's good. But that's not dirty, though. That's the cream, right? Yeah, but they don't, they're not using cream. I mean, they are. They're using cream soda. But cream soda and the cream that people put in the dirty drinks if you're ordering on. Oh, you're talking about when you make your own dirty dew? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_02I thought you're talking about the actual dirty like I could do that, but the dirty dew that's sold, the dirty Mountain Dew that sold on in stores with the vanilla cream soda is disgusting.
SPEAKER_04I don't think it's yeah. It takes a lot for the colour. I'm still confused as to what you guys are just if you're Mountain Dew did a they did a they know. But are you guys against the the Mountain Dew's version or are you against the version where people put cream? Mountain Dew's version. Okay. That's what I'm trying to do. I can do it on Coke, like a dark, a dark pop, like a Pepsi or a Coke. Yes, I can do the dirty Coke, dirty Pepsi.
SPEAKER_02But again, though, if they're distributed out in a store and they're using cream soda, it's not the same as if you go to a soda shop. Like a mountain like a McDonald's.
SPEAKER_04I can't do the dirty soda. Soda shop. Ain't that crazy that this went out of business so long ago and now they're back?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's crazy. I didn't even know they were back. But coffee places are doing that stuff now, too. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. I just think it's it's just because we went to I think the vanilla drinks are all overrated.
SPEAKER_02But take that back. I love vanilla Coke Zero. Vanilla Coke. I love it. You guys want to hear a funny story? So before before Frisches went out of business, you could get the vanilla Coke up.
SPEAKER_04Their vanilla coke was the best one.
SPEAKER_02But you had to stir the flavoring up because the flavoring, you know, it settles, so you stir it up. Well then, not too long, you know, into my teenage years, my dad starts preaching, and my grandma and grandpa, my his mom and dad and us were traveling as he's preaching out, just getting started and everything like that. And at the same time as we're going on the road, or as they're preaching out just in local areas, Coke decides they're going to come out with their own bottled vanilla coke. So we have this suburban that we're in, and my mom and we're we're going into like two or three hours into Kentucky. So we stop, we get snacks at the gas station, we're gonna eat after church, all that stuff. She gets a vanilla coke and candy bar and all that stuff, so we all get our snacks, and she's sitting next to my grandpa, and she's like, you know, to get the best flavoring, then she's got a 20-ounce bottle of pop. She says, You gotta stir this vanilla flavoring up, and she shakes it. It's not open yet, and she shakes it up and she goes, and she blows that pop all over the ceiling of that suburban, all over my grandpa, all over her. Wow. My grandpa always called her dodo, and that was one of the times she said he he told her one day, he said, You're you're proof that the dodo birds aren't extinct.
SPEAKER_05Wow. That's good.
SPEAKER_04That's good. You dodo. I I like adding the extra flavors to my drinks. We we keep the syrups in in our house, and we'll just do a vanilla cook all the time. I it it just needs to be more vanilla. I like with the vanilla coke that you get from like like the cans. Is that like more cowbell? Yeah, need more cowbell.
SPEAKER_02Need more cowbell.
SPEAKER_04No, I just think the for me it's not enough vanilla flavor, so it just adds like a random taste. I'm not a Dr. Pepper fan, though, which a lot of people fall out with me on that. I don't like Dr. Pepper. I'm not a Dr. I like it a little. I can drink it. He just drinked it shuttered. If I do drink it, I want a Dr. Pepper cherry.
SPEAKER_02It's gotta be original. He just shuddered and it's gotta be cold. It's the only pop that I will say has to be cold. I can drink lukewarm pop all day long, but I cannot drink Dr. Pepper that way.
SPEAKER_00What's your argument? Well, so I would I was Mountain Dew Bible school. We drink it all the time. But Dr. Pepper has been mine. But I can't drink like since COVID, I can't drink most dark sodas. Like it just tastes chemically. It tastes like dirty soap water or something. So you just prite guy now? So no, no, Dr. Pepper.
SPEAKER_04That's it. That's a dark pop.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but that's the only one that doesn't taste like because it's already a medicinal flavor. That's true, too. I've tried Marcy.
SPEAKER_04How do you get rid of the Corona? Drinking Dr. Pepper.
SPEAKER_02I will tell you though, I've I've got into a habit and I'm drinking
Quitting Pop Plus Oreo Rules
SPEAKER_02one.
SPEAKER_04That is the worst thing I've ever drank. Sparkling water is too much. No, no, no. Sparkling water is disgusting. That is the worst thing I've ever drank.
SPEAKER_02Topo Chico, man, the best sparkling water out there. That's the worst. This was the mango flavor. Not an ad. Very good. Because I'm trying to quit drinking pop.
SPEAKER_00It's the best of the worst.
SPEAKER_02I'm trying to quit drinking pop, but I can't just drink water. And I really like these. It's helping me cut the habit.
SPEAKER_04You're on an island with that one.
SPEAKER_02Oh, there it works out really well because there's not a single person in my home that likes them. So you get they're so I get when I buy them, they're all mine.
SPEAKER_04So it's like the Oreos, like not like the Oreos, where if somebody gets Oreos, they're all getting eaten.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
unknownNah.
SPEAKER_02That's why if we get Oreos, I take an entire sleeve and eat it right off the bat so that way I get my fair share.
unknownCutting out the pop.
SPEAKER_02It's like I'm cutting out the pop, but I'm still eating a whole sleeve of Oreos. That's why we never get Oreos. I don't ever get them.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, Benjamin's an Oreo eating machine.
SPEAKER_02They all are, man. Right. All my kids. Kennedy's the only one that's not a big.
SPEAKER_04Oreos are overrated. By themselves, yes.
SPEAKER_02But as used in desserts or in milk, the best cookie ever.
SPEAKER_04There's no other way to eat an Oreo than with milk. You just don't open it, get an Oreo and be like, I think I want to coke with that. No, no, no.
SPEAKER_02I'm not saying that. I'm just saying, like, and who and who eats cookies dry anyways? I do. I eat chocolate chip cookies. Chocolate chip cookies dry all day long. I mean, I dunk them in milk. I prefer them in milk, but I can just no hope for this. I can just grab a handful of chocolate chip cookies and go.
SPEAKER_04Absolutely. And just hammer them. Yeah. Just hammer them. I love being a chocolate chip cookie. Wow. What a dessert. Wow. I love a chocolate chip cookie. Nothing better. Well, we just made him happy.
SPEAKER_02Nothing better than he did just say he was hungry.
SPEAKER_04Nothing better than a chocolate chip cookie. Goodness. You would eat that for a dinner, wouldn't you? No.
SPEAKER_00So then the question is chewy or crunchy? Crunchy.
SPEAKER_04Okay. It depends. So if it's the Chipsahoy, it's the crunchy. But like the store ball, like the bigger ones, I want them soft and gooey.
SPEAKER_02So I don't like soft cookies because I think they taste chemical. There's something in them to keep them soft.
SPEAKER_04What about even the ones that okay cookie dough? Bake from home.
SPEAKER_02Bake from home, I'm okay with that. But I still like crunchy cookies. Soft and gooey is the only way to have it from home.
SPEAKER_00Right out of the oven.
SPEAKER_04It's the green.
SPEAKER_03That's great.
SPEAKER_04The edges are crunchy. The edges are crunchy when you get in the center and gooey. He's like, maybe just melt the chocolate chip. Yeah. Just melt it. I want my cookie blue.
SPEAKER_02I want it blue. There's nothing better than right out of the oven, still melted chocolate.
SPEAKER_04See, if I'm getting a store bought, I like the crunchy ones. Yeah. I like crunchy Chip Ahoy. Like that, like that's like the best. Because yet again, I'm going to be dunking that that sucker in milk until it's about to fall apart.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. I mean, it's but that makes it. That's the way to that's the way to eat. Yeah, but that's the part, that's the reason you do it. It still holds its integrity, though. There's still crunch to that cookie, even if you get it to where it gets soft. There's still crunch to that cookie. The inside's crunchy.
SPEAKER_00Unlike an Oreo.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah. But even then, I like a soggy Oreo. I can't help it. Do you know how I don't know? Do you separate the Oreo?
SPEAKER_04Why would I do that? Did you put your Oreo on a cook? I'm just asking. No. You probably do you look the icing on the crunch them up? I eat the Oreo. Put them in the cup and I was re we're having two different conversations. This is hilarious. The Oreo. That's what they used to do to as an advertisement. The Oreo was you would tear it apart and you'd lick the ices. No. That was the end of the twist, twist, lick dunk. Yeah, that was how they did it. I just don't know. Why would anybody do that? That's terrible.
SPEAKER_02Crush them up in a cup, get them all nice and fine, pour milk over top of them, and eat it like soggy cereal. It's the best way to ever.
SPEAKER_04That's like a really good idea.
SPEAKER_02And then whatever you don't get when you're drinking that milk, you just get all that mouthful of Oreos.
SPEAKER_04If we're going to the extreme, the best way to eat Oreos is in dirt pudding. Oh, dude, it's not even close. That's that's that's that's different. Is it though? No, it isn't. If you're just part of an actually, there's Mariah makes. If we are going to mutilate the cookie, we better put it's like it better not die for nothing just to be drowned in milk. We need to go ahead and put it into this French vanilla pudding. Can I ask you a question?
SPEAKER_02And whipped cream. Can I ask you a question? So you've already started the premise, the argument, that Oreos are to be eaten dunked in milk. So when you Okay, so when you dunk your milk in the Oreo, and or when you duck your Oreo in the milk, okay? Dunk in milk? Do you you make it where it's real soft? Yes. Okay. So how's that any different than what I'm doing?
SPEAKER_04Because I still have the integrity of the city. I'm still getting I'm still getting the entire thing.
SPEAKER_02And the cream full. I get, but there's enough cream to go with the cookie. I get cream every time. Yeah, he's right. I mean, he's got the same thing you're doing.
SPEAKER_04I'm just already got it pre-crunched up. Nine out of ten times I'm always not gonna be. I mean you ate more than me. Listen, doesn't mean you don't have a better flavor. I am pulling ate more. I am pulling weight. Okay. I'm just saying it's the same thing. No, it's the same flavor broken. Try it. That's really good.
SPEAKER_02You'll never go back. The only thing that I will do that with is graham
Buttermilk Debates And Spicy Challenges
SPEAKER_02crackers. Graham crackers are great, but see, I don't crunch them up and put them in milk. I I dunk them.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god that's the cornbread. Huh?
SPEAKER_02Cornbread crushed up in milk is great. Buttermilk.
SPEAKER_04No. No. Why would you why? It's so good. No, it's not. I've never had buttermilk. I still have to try it. You gotta try it. I'll bring some. I'm gonna I'm gonna tell you what you guys can do that. If you have cornbread, that's the only way I'll do it. You gotta try it once by itself. Wait, are we is this a Patreon video? I'll bring some. You want, I'll go. I will because the thing is, is the beautiful thing about buttermilk is I can drink a half gallon by myself. I'm just gonna tell you, I've tried it. I am not willing to try it again. I'll try it. I don't care. I'll do it.
SPEAKER_00Buttermilk is really good on chicken tenders. If you marinate it in, it breaks them down.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it's it's an ingredient. It is not a drink.
SPEAKER_02It's so good. I'll try it. Oh, if you bring some in, I'll try it. Dude.
SPEAKER_04Patreon, it is. I'm about to go get some right now. Where's their grocery store?
SPEAKER_02Hey, by the way, we were going to try, we were talking about doing that one chip challenge. So we're gonna have to buy the fake ones off of Amazon because the one chip challenge has been completely disbanded because somebody died. Not laughing that they lost their life, but the fact that I'm still wanting to buy them from Amazon to try whatever is out there.
SPEAKER_04Cause of death chip. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Just it it put their the heat of the chip, put their body in state of arrest, and they died. They had an over an overdose of capsaicin and it would shut their body down.
SPEAKER_00You can buy the world's hottest gummy bean at Mini So. Oh yeah? Yeah. Gummy bear. Gummy bear.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, gummy bear. Yeah. Conley tried that.
SPEAKER_02I seen Conley try it, and he yeah, that was he was the warnings of like the chip is you can sweat.
SPEAKER_04I can't get over the it put his body to rest. In a state of arrest. Arrest. I thought you said. Oh, I heard it put his body to rest. No, I wouldn't. I'm not that bad. Yep, it totally did. He was like the chip was like, go to sleep, buddy. Don't you wake up. You're not waking up.
SPEAKER_02No, that's awful.
SPEAKER_04My tongue tome hurt is what I'd be thinking the whole time if we take do that L time. I'm telling you.
SPEAKER_00Well, there was a couple guys on YouTube who would do it, and they would have to go to the hospital.
SPEAKER_04You know though what I used to make this even worse for you guys with the whole buttermilk thing, I love buttermilk and Taco Bell together. Oh, it's so good. That just sounds disgusting. Bro, that sounds like explosive diarrhea. It's so good. It's so good. I love buttermilk. And some savory cornbread, though. Some buttermilk and savory cornbread. Mm. Mm-mm.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. No. I'd rather do the one chip challenge. I would rather do the one chip challenge.
SPEAKER_04You'd rather die.
SPEAKER_00I'm willing to take my chance.
SPEAKER_04We will take I if we do the one chip challenge, though, we're all gonna have to get a half gallon of milk. Just a cup. That's all you need.
SPEAKER_00Just I'll do a cup with you. Okay. Dude. I'd do a cup. Are you kidding me? I was there when Sean ate those hot wings at B-dubs with I forget who all was there, but he tried it. He was sweating. Yeah. Sweating.
SPEAKER_04Didn't you try them though? Oh yeah. Dude, they were gnarly hot. Was it the blazon or whatever they're doing? Yeah, they were the hottest wave they had, yeah. I think that's the blazon. It was killing me, dude. Like, oh my goodness. Did you want me to do word of the day?
Word Of The Day And Closing Bits
SPEAKER_04Yeah, we can we can end on that. Okay. I don't know. Word of the day. Word of the day. Alright. So the word of the day today is bumber shoot. What is a bumper shoot? Bombershoot.
SPEAKER_02I don't know why, but I just think of ebonies or screech when you said that. You know what I think of? I think of the aristocracy. That's all he took my bumber shoot. Is that like an umbrella?
SPEAKER_00What's your guess? I have no idea. What's your guess?
SPEAKER_04After what Brother Ryan said and the faces you made, I'm probably gonna go with more of the umbrella. A bumber chute is simply an umbrella.
SPEAKER_02Alright. Hey, not too bad for somebody who don't know how to talk to you. So have you actually you've heard that? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I don't I never watch the Aristocats. So I don't I think it's in the Aristocats. Oh I can Full Tinkle Key always wrong is all you can think of.
SPEAKER_02Oh man. So what do you think? First episode on Bro.
SPEAKER_00I like it.
SPEAKER_04We did our we did our we talked about food the entire time. This is that's just right in our way. Dude, this is yeah, this is peak. Pulp it to the pew.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04So by the way, it's probably time to go ahead and announce the uh winner of the logo. And it was totally the Waffle House guy. Yeah. The Waffle House on one. See, I didn't know that. That's why I'm announcing it now to kind of get a reaction, and it's kind of like we figured we didn't want it to be, but we figured it won't win. I just can't wait for us to get sued. Why are we going to get sued over that? The image is very similar. You're a downer. Welcome. Yeah, you know that. You should have already known that. You've known me now for how many years? Hello? You know, hey. It's kind of my whole personality. I figured you'd be excited.
SPEAKER_00If we get excited to desist, we'll cease and desist.
SPEAKER_02No, they we'll just say, why don't you just sponsor us? For sure.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, dude.
SPEAKER_04Well the pro We'll take it to Waffle House. Then I guess I would. If I can get a lifetime supply of Waffle House. You die really quick. You would literally be dead. The show would last.
SPEAKER_02They would not be making it to the 40s.
SPEAKER_00It would put my body to rest. With happiness.
SPEAKER_04And grease. And cigarette ashes. What a way to die.
SPEAKER_00I'm all for it. Slipping on a greasy floor.
SPEAKER_04To leave heaven on earth to enter to eternity heaven. Oh, it sounds wonderful. Wait.
SPEAKER_02Thanks for hold on, wait a minute. You gotta resate all of it.
SPEAKER_04To leave heaven on earth to eternity to heaven. Whatever. To leave heaven on earth to go to eternity. See you guys later.
